The maritime robotics community faces huge difficulties to advance AI in their domain.
They need substantial means to test their robotic developments or gather real sensors data at sea. They endure climatic hazards often retarding by weeks or months their projects. The simulators they use during their development are not up to the task, being either deprecated, costly to maintain, black box, complicated or long to set up and use.
We decided to make the life of the AI and robotics community way easier.
We are building Plankton.
Plankton is the first simulator for robotics that allows the community to test, train and deploy their AI algorithms in a matter of seconds.
